SunSickriver

It was supposed to be our annual trip to Sunriver last weekend, but on the eve of leaving, Betsey was still symptomatic of whatever bug she was carrying, and I'm not talking about the baby. Since having symptoms is, according to some sources, the same as being contagious, we decided not to risk infecting our friends. This turned out to be a great decision because, on Friday, I woke up feeling sick, again. I thought I had been through this just a couple weeks before, but, apparently, there were two bugs out there.

So while our friends were enjoying themselves in Sunriver, we were, well, enjoying ourselves in Corvallis. Yes, we were sick and ached all over, but it was sunny, and that's what counts. I ended up spending most of every day outside, enjoying the sun and working on our yards (front and back). Things are starting to look nice out there. Now if only I could get started on the inside, say the nursery, that would be something.

I did get to use our wheelbarrow for the first time. Betsey helped me assemble it before I put it to use. It's great to have. It's much nicer collecting weeds in this thing than toting around the yard debris container provided by the city.
